• GPRS connection timer and scroll to check the duration of the last GPRS
connection or the total duration of GPRS connection. You can also clear the
timers.
■ Tones (Menu 4)
Press Menu, select Tones and Tone settings. You can find the
same settings in the Profiles menu, see Profiles (Menu 5) on page
74.
Select Incoming call alert to choose how the phone notifies you of an incoming
voice call. The options are Ringing, Ascending, Ring once, Beep once and Off.
Select Ringing tone, Ringing volume and Vibrating alert for an incoming voice call
and an incoming message. The vibrating alert does not work when the phone is
connected to a charger, desktop stand or a car kit.
Select Message alert tone to set the alert tone for incoming messages, Keypad
tones, or Warning tones to set the phone to sound tones, for example, when the
battery is running out of power.
If you receive a traditional ringing tone as an OTA message, you can save it in the
ringing tone list. You can also download polyphonic ringing tones from a
predefined WAP site using the Tone services submenu, or via MMS. The number of
ringing tones you can savein the ringing tone list depends on the size of an
individual ringing tone. If there is no free space for ringing tones, you can replace
a previously stored ringing tone with the received one. The ringing tone list
contains both traditional and polyphonic ringing tones.
