3 Remove the battery, if inserted.
4 Make sure the contact area of the SIM card is facing down, and insert the card into
the SIM card slot.
5 Line up the battery contacts, and insert the battery.
6 Replace the back cover. Direct the top locking catches toward their slots, and press
down.
Important: Do not use a mini-UICC SIM card, also known as a micro-SIM card, a micro-
SIM card with an adapter, or a SIM card that has a mini-UICC cutout (see figure) in this
