To save the configuration settings received by a configuration message sent by a
service provider, see Configuration settings service on page 17.
The settings can be viewed and partly edited also in the different applications.
Select Menu > Settings > Configuration settings and from the following options:
Default config. — to view the list of service providers stored on the phone (the
default service provider is highlighted) and to select another service provider as
default. Scroll to a provider, and select Details to view the list with supported
applications. To delete a service provider from the list, select Options > Delete.
Activate default in all applications — to set the applications to use the settings
from the default service provider
Preferred access point — to select another access point. Normally use the access
point from your preferred network operator.
Connect to service provider support — to download the configuration settings
from your service provider if this is suppoprted by the service provider.
Personal config. settings — to add new personal accounts for various services, and
to activate them. To add a new personal account if you have not added any, select
Add new; otherwise select Options > Add new. Select the service type, and select
and enter each of the required parameters. The parameters differ according to the
selected service type. To delete or activate a personal account, scroll to it, and
select Options > Delete or Activate.
Enter the settings manually
To enter, view, and edit the settings manually, select Menu > Settings >
Configuration settings > Personal config. settings.
