Quick and easy
• Answering a waiting call: First activate Call waiting service (see page 26). Then you can answer a
waiting call by pressing . The first call is put on hold. Press to end the active call.

■ Sending a text message
You can write and edit text messages of up to 160 characters.
1. Press Menu, and select Messages and Write message
2. Key in a message. See Writing text on page 34.

3. To send the message, press Options, and select Send.
4. Enter the recipient’s phone number and press OK to send the message, or search for the phone
number in the phone book. Press OK to send the message.
Note: When sending messages via the SMS network service, your phone may display the words "Message
Sent". This is an indication that the message has been sent by your phone to the message centre number
programmed into your phone. This is not an indication that the message has been received at the
intended destination. For more details about SMS services, check with your service provider.
