The warranty on this lawn tractor does not cover items that
have been subjected to operator abuse or negligence. To
receive full value from the warranty, operator must maintain
lawn tractor as instructed in this manual. The following IVlaln-
tsnance Check List issupplied to assist operator to properly
maintain lawn tractor. This is a check list only.
Adjustments referred to will be found in Adjustments section
of this manual.

2. Service more often when operating in dirty or dusty conditions. 3. Replace more often when mowing in sandy soil.
At no time dur ing maintenance or adjustments
can the lawn tractor be lifted more than 20
inches from level position without taking the
_ following precautions:
1. Remove gasoline from tank and run engine
until carburetor is dry.
2. Remove battery. (see BATTERY REMOVAL
paragraph in MAINTENANCE section.)
3. Remove oll from crankcase.
LUBRICATION
For lubrication frequency see Maintenance Check List. For
lubrication points and type of lubricant see Lubrication
Chart. The transmission has been lubricated for life.
