FAILURE NOTIFICATIONS/
TROUBLESHOOTING
Under the conditions below, Nomiku will shut off and must be
unplugged and plugged back in to be restarted.
Low Water - If the water level is below the “Min” level, a “Low Water”
warning will appear. Add water so that it fills between the “Min” and
“Max” as indicated before plugging in Nomiku again.
Motor Stuck - If something is blocking the impeller from turning, a
“Motor Stuck” warning will appear. Wait for Nomiku to cool and clear
out any particles near the impeller at the bottom of the heater. If this
message continues or particles cannot be dislodged without open-
ing Nomiku, please contact us.
Overheat - If Nomiku gets too hot, an “Overheat” warning will
appear. It may be necessary to add water to the container. Wait a
few minutes for Nomiku to cool down before restarting.
Service - Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized
service representative
Allow Nomiku to cool down to room temperature then wipe Nomiku
down carefully with a damp cloth and dry before storing.
If the immersed parts become greasy or need more cleaning:
1 Put Nomiku in a pot as described in “Operation” and fill the pot
with water to the “Max” level indicated on Nomiku.
2 Set Nomiku temperature to 65° C (149° F).
3 Add 1/2 tablespoon non-foaming dishwashing liquid per gallon
of water used.
4 Allow the water to circulate for 10 minutes after 65° C (149° F) is
reached.
5 Turn off and unplug Nomiku.
6 When Nomiku is cool, rinse the bottom in cold water and dry
before storage.
