      Andre ParkerAug 3, 2025
If your NordicTrack Treadmill turns off during use, there are several things to check: * Examine the power switch. * Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in. If it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and then plug it back in. * Remove and reinsert the key from the console.

Why does my NordicTrack Treadmill walking belt slow down when I walk on it?
    • A
      Anita WadeAug 7, 2025
If the walking belt on your NordicTrack Treadmill slows down when you walk on it, it might be overtightened. Adjust the incline to 40 percent, remove the key, and unplug the power cord. Use a hex key to turn both idler roller screws counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn. When the walking belt is properly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the walking belt 3 to 4 in. (8 to 10 cm) off the walking platform. Be careful to keep the walking belt centered. Then, plug in the power cord, insert the key, and walk on the incline trainer for a few minutes. Repeat until the walking belt is properly tightened. Also, do not apply silicone spray or other substances to the walking belt or the walking platform unless instructed to do so by an authorized service representative.

How to fix NordicTrack NTL29019.1 console display if it doesn't function properly?
    • V
      velasquezelizabethAug 11, 2025
If the console of your NordicTrack Treadmill doesn't boot up properly or freezes, reset it to the factory default settings. Note that this will erase all custom settings. Resetting requires two people: first, turn the power switch off. Locate the small reset opening on the side of the console. Using a bent paper clip, press and hold the reset button inside the opening while a second person turns the power switch on. Hold the reset button until the console turns on. The console will turn off and then back on when the reset is complete. If it does not, use the power switch to turn the incline trainer off and then on again. Once the console turns on, check for firmware updates.

    • M
      Michael McbrideAug 15, 2025
If your NordicTrack Treadmill power does not turn on: * Ensure the power cord is plugged into a surge suppressor and that the surge suppressor is plugged into a grounded outlet. * If connected to an AFCI-equipped outlet and the circuit breaker trips repeatedly, purchase an arc filter. * Check the power switch on the frame near the power cord. If it protrudes, wait five minutes, then press it back in to reset.

If the walking belt on your NordicTrack Treadmill is off-center or slips, here's what you can do. First, set the incline to 40 percent, then remove the key and unplug the power cord. If the belt is off-center: for a belt shifted to the left, turn the left idler roller screw clockwise 1/2 turn; for a belt shifted to the right, turn the left idler roller screw counterclockwise 1/2 turn. If the belt slips, turn both idler roller screws clockwise 1/4 of a turn. After adjustments, plug in the power cord, insert the key, and walk on the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until corrected, being careful not to overtighten the walking belt. When the walking belt is correctly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the walking belt 3 to 4 in.
