What to do if NordicTrack NTL1495.2 power turns off during use?
    • E
      Elizabeth JamesAug 12, 2025
If your NordicTrack Treadmill's power turns off during use, first check the reset/off circuit breaker and reset it if tripped by waiting five minutes before pressing the switch. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in; if it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and plug it back in. Also, remove and reinsert the key fully into the console. If these steps don't resolve the issue, consult the front cover of the manual for further assistance.

How to fix NordicTrack NTL1495.2 if power does not turn on?
    • D
      Dillon TuckerAug 17, 2025
If your NordicTrack Treadmill doesn't turn on, ensure the power cord is plugged into a surge suppressor that meets the specifications on page 11 and that the surge suppressor is plugged into a properly grounded outlet. Note that the treadmill isn't compatible with GFCI-equipped outlets. Also, make sure the key is fully inserted into the console. Check the reset/off circuit breaker located on the treadmill frame near the power cord; if the switch protrudes, wait five minutes before pressing it to reset.

What to do if NordicTrack Treadmill walking belt slips?
    • D
      Destiny GatesAug 25, 2025
If the walking belt on your NordicTrack Treadmill is off-center, or slips when walked on, remove the key and unplug the power cord first. If the belt is off-center to the left, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn; if it's off to the right, turn it counterclockwise 1/2 turn. If the belt slips, turn both rear roller bolts clockwise 1/4 turn. Ensure the belt isn't too tight—you should be able to lift each side 3 to 4 inches. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and walk on the treadmill to test. Repeat adjustments until centered and properly tightened.

Why does NordicTrack Treadmill walking belt slow down when I walk on it?
    • A
      Alejandro Kennedy MDAug 29, 2025
If the walking belt of your NordicTrack Treadmill slows when walked on, use only a single-outlet surge suppressor that meets all specifications. If the walking belt is overtightened, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Use an allen wrench to turn both rear roller adjustment bolts counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn. The belt should be tight enough that you can lift each side 3 to 4 inches off the platform. Plug the cord back in, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until properly tightened. If it still slows, consult the front cover of the manual.

Why doesn't the NordicTrack NTL1495.2 Treadmill shock assist in lowering the frame?
    • T
      Taylor TerrySep 5, 2025
Environmental factors, such as cold temperatures, can decrease the performance of the shock on your NordicTrack Treadmill. To improve its performance, hold the ends of the treadmill frame near the endcaps firmly with both hands. Carefully lower the frame to the floor and then raise it several times, bending your legs and keeping your back straight to avoid injury.
