      If your NordicTrack Treadmill power does not turn on, ensure the power cord is plugged into a surge suppressor, and that the surge suppressor is plugged into a grounded outlet. Also, make sure the key is inserted into the console after plugging in the power cord. Finally, check the reset/off circuit breaker on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the switch protrudes, the circuit breaker has tripped. Wait five minutes, then press the switch to reset it.

      If your NordicTrack Treadmill's walking belt slips when you walk on it, first remove the key and unplug the power cord. Then, use the allen wrench to turn both rear roller bolts clockwise, 1/4 of a turn.

      If the incline of your NordicTrack Treadmill does not change correctly, insert the key into the console and press one of the Incline buttons. While the incline is changing, remove the key. After a few seconds, re-insert the key.

      If your NordicTrack Treadmill's walking belt is off-center, remove the key and unplug the power cord. If the belt has shifted left, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn with the allen wrench. If it has shifted right, turn the left rear roller bolt counterclockwise 1/2 turn.

      If the walking belt slows down when you walk on your NordicTrack Treadmill, use only a single-outlet surge suppressor that meets all of the specifications described. Also, if the walking belt is overtightened, treadmill performance may decrease and the walking belt may become damaged, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Using the allen wrench, turn both rear roller bolts counterclockwise, 1/4 of a turn. When the walking belt is properly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the walking belt 3 to 4 inches off the walking platform.

      If your NordicTrack Treadmill turns off during use, check the reset/off circuit breaker. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in; if it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, then plug it back in. Also, remove and reinsert the key into the console. If it still won't run, further assistance is needed.
