Statistical File Error Procedure
This procedure assumes the user is logged into the BMC and that the BMC
messages are directed to the local terminal. No output to a local terminal will
occur if the user is not logged in or messages are directed to a DMS-10
printer. For DMS-10 sites using the DMS-10 printer, the appropriate MSG x
(x = TTY # assigned to BMC) must precede the command entered.

Statistical File Error

The STAT FILE ERROR error map message occurs as a result of a previous attempt to
read or write data to the STAT file by the system software. Enter the following command
to obtain a list of BMC alarms.
>ERRMAP ALARMS (cr)
System response includes a list of alarms on the active and standby processors. If there
are any disk related alarms listed in the error map, Troubleshoot those alarms prior to the
STAT FILE ERROR alarm.

Enter the following command to reset the errors in the BMC:
>RSERR 00 (cr)
and/or
>DOS S RSERR 00 (cr)
System response indicates that the alarm has been cleared.
