Now bow and stern are getting connected
and tensioned. In order to do this, remove
the split pin on keel rod.
And then proceed exactly as described.
That means pulling up stern and bow
("stern over bow"). Make sure, the keel
rod with the riveted half-tube is on top.
The keel rod of the bow with its
hemispherical end is mounted to the
riveted half-tube of the stern’s keel rod.
Slowly press the aligned keel rods down.
Especially the first time a high tension
occurs. This is normal and will decrease
with further assembling.
Make sure, not to have your hand
under the half tube!
