UDS-4N
1- GENERAL DESCRIPTION
UDS-4N is a self-contained peripheral unit that can directly control any
CO2,
inert gas or halogenated hydrocarbon
extinguishing system.
The UDS-4N shutdown management panel includes a discharge management circuit in compliance with UNI EN
12094-1.
The UDS-4N unit is in a plastic container, equipped with a 7" colour touch display for easy viewing of the system status
and protected by passwords at various levels for programming and local management of the shutdown system.
Compatible with all NOTIFIER control panels on the market:
• conventional fire stations
• analogue fire panels
UDS-4N CAN BE ACTIVATED BY:
• conventional control panels: two inputs are provided to define the pre-activation and activation condition.
• analogue control panels by connection to the Loop, to activate the shutdown and to report alarm and fault
conditions directly to the control panel;
• manually by button connected to the relevant manual activation input of UDS-4N.
UDS-4N is protected against overvoltage, short circuits and electrostatic discharge.
USER INTERFACE:
• mandatory light indications by means of LEDs.
• indications on a 7" colour touch display, relating to pre-activation, activation, release, fault conditions. These
indications can be accessed at any time.
• instant display on the 7" colour touch display of the countdown to the pre-discharge time (which is
programmable).
• display of the extinguishing agent release condition in progress, with corresponding display of the inscription on
the 7" colour touch display.
• Keyboard access to system and zone information.
• graphic menu for programming/configuration.
• Menu items are protected by (changeable) passwords level 3A, 3, 2 (according to EN54.2).
