The Novita 3-in-1 Portable Air Conditioner (models NAC12000/NAC14000) is a versatile appliance designed to provide cooling, dehumidification, and fan-only operation for various indoor environments. This unit is equipped with Blue-Fin Cooling Technology, which offers anti-corrosive properties, fast cooling, high efficiency, auto-self clean function, and long-lasting durability. It boasts an A-grade energy efficiency rating.
Function Description:
The device operates as a 3-in-1 unit, offering:
- Cool Mode: Provides cooling by expelling warm exhaust air through a hose. Users can select a preferred temperature between 18°C and 32°C and adjust the fan speed (High, Medium, Low, or Auto). In Auto fan speed, the unit adjusts operation based on the temperature difference between the surrounding environment and the desired setting: High fan speed for differences ≥ 2°C, Medium for differences between 0°C and 1°C, and Low fan speed with a 3-minute on/17-minute off cycle for surrounding temperatures ≤ desired temperature.
- Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling. The exhaust hose is not required in this mode. Users can select High, Medium, or Low fan speeds. Auto mode is unavailable in Fan Mode.
- Dry Mode (Dehumidification): Removes excess moisture from the air. The exhaust hose must be properly installed for this mode. Temperature and fan speed settings are automatically programmed and cannot be adjusted. If the room temperature is below 16°C, Dry Mode is unavailable, and only the fan motor will run. Continuous drainage is recommended for optimal performance in Dry Mode.
The unit also features a Smart Mode which automatically selects between Cool or Fan Mode based on the surrounding temperature (Fan Mode below 23°C, Cool Mode above 23°C). A Sleep Mode (available only via remote control in Cool Mode) maintains the surrounding temperature and reduces display screen light intensity, automatically turning off after 8 hours. A Programmable Timer allows for automatic turn-on or turn-off, with durations from 1 to 24 hours (or 0.5 to 24 hours via remote control). The Oscillation function (remote control only) controls the air outlet flap movement.

Usage Features:
- Control Panel and Remote Control: The unit can be operated via an intuitive control panel on the unit or a full-function remote control. The remote control includes a display screen showing indicators for Cool, Dry, Fan, Heat (not applicable for this model), Smart Mode, Temperature Display Unit, Childlock, Turbo Mode, Sleep Mode, Timer to Auto Turn Off/On, Air Outlet Flap Oscillation, and Fan Speed.
- Easy Mobility: Equipped with easy-roll castors for convenient movement on smooth, flat surfaces.
- Window Slider Kit: Designed to fit most standard vertical and horizontal window applications. The kit can be trimmed to fit shorter window openings.
- Exhaust Hose Installation: A 1.5-meter exhaust hose is provided to channel warm air out of the room during Cool and Dry modes.
- Water Condensation Drainage: Features both manual drainage (for Cool & Dry mode) and continuous drainage (recommended for Dry mode) options. The unit will stop operating and display an indicator when excess water condensation needs draining.
- Temperature Display Unit: Users can switch between Degree Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) via the control panel or remote control.
- Childlock Function: The remote control can be locked to prevent unintended operation.
Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning & Maintenance of the Portable Air Conditioner: The outer case should be wiped with a slightly damp cloth to remove dust, followed by a dry cloth. Dust intake at drainage outlets should be removed to prevent clogging.
- Pre-Filter Screens: For optimum performance, pre-filter screens should be cleaned weekly. This involves removing the upper and lower air inlet grilles, sliding out the pre-filter screens, vacuuming dust, and if necessary, rinsing them in warm water (not exceeding 40°C) before drying.
- Blue-Fin Cooling Technology: Includes an auto-self clean function for enhanced durability and efficiency.
Safety Precautions:
The manual emphasizes several safety precautions, including:
- Always placing the unit on a dry, flat, and level surface.
- Ensuring adequate clearance (at least 45 cm) around the unit for proper air circulation.
- Keeping doors and windows closed in Cool and Dry modes for optimal efficiency.
- Not blocking air inlets or outlets.
- Not using the unit in high humidity or outdoor environments.
- Allowing the unit to stand upright for 6 hours before first use to stabilize the refrigerant.
- Properly installing the exhaust hose and keeping it as short as possible.
- Using a properly grounded power supply and avoiding extension cords.
- Not disassembling or modifying the unit.
- Keeping the unit away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
- Not using hazardous chemicals for cleaning.
- Disconnecting the unit from power during transportation, maintenance, or cleaning.
- Servicing should only be conducted by professional service technicians.
The device also includes error code troubleshooting for issues like low temperature (frost protection), probe failure (sensor damaged), and full tank, providing corresponding solutions.
