The Novita PuriDry™ Dehumidifier + Air Purifier ND2 is a 2-in-1 device designed to regulate humidity levels, dehumidify excessive moisture, dry laundry, purify air, and ionize indoor air. It combines dehumidification with air purification, featuring a UV-C LED sterilization system, a semi-permanent built-in ionizer, and an advanced DC brushless motor system with a 5-year warranty. The compressor also comes with a 5-year warranty.
Function Description:
The ND2 operates as both a dehumidifier and an air purifier. As a dehumidifier, it removes excess moisture from the air, preventing mold and mildew growth. It also functions as an effective indoor laundry drying device, drawing moisture from garments and condensing it into water droplets, while producing warm air to speed up drying. For air purification, it utilizes a multi-stage filtration system, including a pre-filter screen, an Enhanced Dual Mesh Activated Carbon Filter or an H11 HEPA & Granular Activated Carbon Filter, and a semi-permanent built-in ionizer. The UV-C LED sterilization actively eliminates microorganisms. The anion mode activates the built-in ionizer to produce negative ions, which eliminate airborne allergens and break down airborne germs, refreshing indoor air quality.

Usage Features:
The ND2 offers a range of programmable modes and controls for user convenience:
- Humidity Setting Control: Users can set desired humidity levels from 30% to 80% RH in 5% intervals, or select Continuous Dehumidification Mode. The display shows ambient humidity.
- Continuous Dehumidification Mode: The unit continuously dehumidifies regardless of ambient humidity until the water tank is full.
- Room Humidity Display: The display screen shows the relative humidity level of the room.
- UV-C Sterilization: Activates UV-C LED sterilization to eliminate microorganisms.
- Air Purification Mode: Operates with anion and UV-C sterilization to purify the air, deactivating dehumidification.
- Semi-Permanent Built-In Ionizer: Activates anion mode to produce negative ions for air quality improvement.
- Laundry Drying Mode: Operates at continuous dehumidification with high fan speed for 6 hours, then switches off. RH% and fan speed settings are pre-set and not adjustable in this mode.
- Sleep Mode: Deactivates all light indicators on the control panel and sets the fan to low speed for undisturbed operation.
- Timer Function: Allows programming for automatic shutoff from 1 to 24 hours.
- Childlock: Locks the control panel to prevent unintentional operation by children. Activated by pressing and holding the Timer Button for 2 seconds.
- Defrost Mode: Automatically activates when room temperature drops to 4°C or below, stopping the compressor and running the fan at high speed until defrosting is complete.
- Auto-Shut Off with Full Tank Indicator: The unit automatically shuts off and beeps 5 times when the water tank is full, not placed properly, or removed.
- Memory Mode: The unit auto-switches on and resumes its last preceding RH% setting after a power cut or disconnection.
- Continuous Drainage Option: Allows for direct drainage via a 2-meter PE hose, eliminating the need to manually empty the water tank. The unit must be placed on a stable, level surface with the hose at a downward angle.
Maintenance Features:
Regular maintenance is crucial for optimal performance and longevity:
- Filter Replacement:
- Enhanced Dual Mesh Activated Carbon Filter: Recommended replacement every 6 months (approx. 1,500 hours) for optimum air purification.
- H11 HEPA & Granular Activated Carbon Filter: Recommended replacement every 9 months (approx. 2,250 hours) for optimum air purification.
- Filters should be replaced after removing plastic packaging. Only one type of filter should be assembled at a time.
- Cleaning the novita Dehumidifier:
- Disconnect from power supply before cleaning.
- Wipe the outer case with a soft cloth; use a mild household cleaner for stubborn stains.
- Remove any dust from the continuous drainage outlet port to prevent clogging.
- Remove the water tank, release the cover catch, and clean the water float sensor. Ensure the float sensor moves freely to actuate the auto shut-off mechanism.
- Do not spray water directly onto the unit.
- Cleaning the 2-in-1 Air Inlet & Pre-Filter Screen:
- Recommended cleaning every 2 weeks.
- Remove the screen, vacuum and wash thoroughly, then air dry before reattaching.
- Do not use the unit without the screen in place.
