Maintenance
• BEFORE MAITENANCE, REMOVE THE PLUG FROM THE POWER SUPPLY.
• Use a soft cloth regularly to clean the surface of the fan and fan base.
• Should the fan body become very dirty, use a soft, damp cloth and dry the unit
completely before reconnecting to the power supply.
• Do not allow water to get into the motor during the cleaning process.
• Do not use the THINNER, ALCOHOL, OR OTHER CHEMICAL liquids to clean the fan.
Storage – out of season
Before storing your fan at the end of the season please follow the above maintenance
routine and then:
1. Apply a few drops of lubricant on motor shaft to avoid corrosion.
2. Remove any oil or dirt stains from the body to prevent the fan from damage.
3. Return the fan to it’s retail carton and store in a cool, dry place.
Recycling and Disposal
The WEEE directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment; 2002/96/EC) has
been put in place to ensure that products are recycled using best available
treatment, recovery and recycling techniques to ensure human health and high
level environment protection. Your product is designed and manufactured with
high quality materials and components, which can be recycled and reused.
Do not mix products bearing the crossed out bin symbol with your
general household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist.
Check with your Local Authority or retailer for recycling advice.
