Problem Reason Solution
Pump does
not work
There is no power
For battery operation check that the
batteries are correctly inserted.
For voltage adapter (7) operation check that the plug is correctly
inserted or try using a different power outlet.
Lip valve (4) is missing or is not
properly attached
Check that lip valve (4) is attached correctly.
Pump is being held at too great
an angle
Hold the pump upright. If the pump is held at too great an angle it will
switch off automatically.
Connection ring is not tight enough Tighten the connection ring.
There is no vacuum
Ensure that the breast shield is sealed against the breast so no air
escapes.
Pump has
only little
suction
Low battery power Replace batteries.
Suction strength is set too low Turn the knob (9) clockwise until the suction strength meets your needs.
Lip valve (4) has a tear
Check the lip wall for tears. Replace it with spare lip valve (4), if
damaged.
Missing overow protection valve (1)
Disassemble pump and place overow protection valve (1) in proper
location.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS FOR THE BREAST
MILK CONTAINER & NIPPLE
WARNING: For safety and health reasons please note
the following:
• Prolonged periods of time drinking liquids, other than
water, may cause tooth decay.
• To prevent possible choking hazard, test strength
before each use by pulling the nipple in all directions.
Any tear can lead to the separation of pieces.
Discontinue use if any tear or crack appears. Do not
attempt to enlarge the hole as this may lead to tearing.
CAUTION:
• Do not overheat. Always test temperature of liquid on
wrist before feeding baby.
• Do not microwave, since this can cause uneven
heating.
• Always supervise baby when feeding.To avoid injury, do
not allow a child to walk or run with a bottle.
CARE:
• Disassemble before cleaning. Prior to first use, sanitize
by boiling in water for 5 minutes.
• For day to day cleaning, wash with hot water and mild
detergent then rinse clean. Dishwasher-safe (top rack).
Allow to dry before storage.
• To heat, use a NUK
®
Bottle Warmer or place the bottle
under hot running water or in a container of heated
water.
• For hygiene and safety, replace with appropriate NUK
®
Nipples after about 2 months of use.
1. Apply the supplied nipple (13) onto the breast milk
container (5) with the supplied container collar (12). The

Breast Milk Container can be used with all NUK
®
Wide-Neck Nipples.

The NUK
®
Air System vents the bottle, preventing
vacuum buildup and allows baby to drink continuously,
swallowing liquid instead of air. Make sure the NUK
®
Air System symbol on the nipple (13) is lined up under
baby’s nose for the best results.
