5. Screw the container

pump motor unit (8)
from below.

connection ring

from below.
4. Press the lip valve (4)
completely onto the
bottom ring of the
assembled breast
shield (2).
6. Open the battery
compartment (10)
by the catch lock.
7a. Voltage adapter operation: Insert the plug
of the voltage adapter (7) into the socket in the
battery compartment. Close the battery compartment
(10) by inserting the tabs of the lid into the matching
slots on the pump motor unit (8). Close the lid (10).
Be sure the catch lock engages with an audible click.
Plug the adapter plug into a power outlet.
NOTE: The device should not be operated without the
battery compartment lid in place.

7b. Battery operation: Requires 3 Type AAA, 1.5 V
batteries. Insert the batteries, ensuring that they are
positioned correctly according to the + and – symbols
in the battery compartment.
NOTE
: The voltage adapter will not charge the batteries.
CAUTION: Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not
mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable
(ni-cad, ni-mh, etc.) batteries.
8. Close the battery compartment (10) by inserting the
tabs of the lid into the matching slots on the pump
motor unit (8) and close the lid (10). Be sure the catch
lock engages with an audible click.
NOTE: The device should not be operated without the
battery compartment lid (10) in place.
