- Never place the appliance in water or other liquids.
- When moving or handling the appliance, never hold it by the coffee bean
container and always make sure that the container is firmly locked onto the
body of the appliance.
- Never leave the appliance motor on when there is no coffee being ground;
automatic models of the appliance will not stop immediately and this will
cause the motor to overheat.
- In the event that a foreign body should block the motor, switch the applian-
ce off immediately and contact an authorised assistance centre.
WARNING
Appliances with a nameplate stating “MOTORE PROTETTO DA
TERMICA” (motor with thermal protection) are fitted with thermal
cut-out switch to protect the motor.
If this device enters into operation, do not attempt any manoeu-
vres, just disconnect the appliance from the mains power and
make sure that any problems have been completely solved before
starting it again.
