LOCKING THE CONTAINER
- Before operating the appliance, it is necessary to fit the coffee bean contai-
ner (2).
- Insert the container (2) into its seat (Fig. 2), positioning it so that the hole
lines up with the screw on the back part of the appliance.
- Tighten the lock screw (Fig. 3).
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- After connecting the appliance to the mains electricity, close the tab (3) at
the base of the coffee bean container (2) (Fig. 4).
- Remove the lid (1) from the container (2) and fill it with coffee beans.
- Move the switch (4) to the ON position. The red indicator light on the switch
itself will light up (on the models MDX - MDM).
- Open the tab (3).
- On the fully automatic version, the machine will start again and stop auto-
matically. On other versions, the motor is switched on using the switch; wait
for the doser unit to fill to the halfway point, then place the filter holder cup
on the fork (10) and use the doser lever (7). Each stroke of the lever is a
single dose of ground coffee.
- Switch off the switch to stop the grinding operation
WARNING
In the interests of preventing damage and accidents, never place
fingers or other items into the spout below the doser while the
ground coffee is being dispensed.
GRINDING AND DOSE ADJUSTMENT
To adjust grinding fineness, use the adjustment knob (5). This needs to be tur-
ned clockwise to increase grinding fineness or anticlockwise to increase the
grain size, as shown on the knob itself (Fig. 5).
To ad just the number of grams in a single dose, use the dial (9) on the bottom
part of the doser (6), turning it clockwise to increase the size of the dose and
anticlockwise to reduce it (Fig. 6).
