Why is there a flare-up with my NUTRICHEF NCGRIL2 Grill?
    • C
      candacebrownAug 18, 2025
Flare-ups in your NUTRICHEF Grill can occur due to drip buildup, excessive fat in the meat you are cooking, or excessive cooking temperature. To resolve this, clean the burners and the inside of the grill/firebox. Trim the fat from the meat before grilling, and adjust the cooking temperature accordingly by lowering it.

What to do if flames blow out on NUTRICHEF Grill?
    • A
      amandacarrollAug 20, 2025
If the flames on your NUTRICHEF Grill blow out, it could be due to high or gusting winds, low LP gas, or a tripped excess flow valve. You can turn the front of the grill to face the wind or increase the flame height. If the LP gas is low, refill the cylinder. If it is an excess flow valve tripped, refer to the section about a sudden drop in gas flow.

How to fix gas leaking from cracked hose of NUTRICHEF Grill?
    • T
      Tracie SteeleAug 26, 2025
If you notice gas leaking from a cracked, cut, or burned hose or from the LP cylinder of your NUTRICHEF Grill, immediately turn off the gas at the LP cylinder or at the source on natural gas systems. If the hose is cracked or cut but not burned, replace the valve/hose/regulator. However, if the hose is burned, stop using the grill until a qualified plumber or gas technician has inspected and fixed the problem.

What causes a sudden drop in gas flow or low flame on NUTRICHEF NCGRIL2 Grill?
    • R
      Robin GarciaAug 28, 2025
A sudden drop in gas flow or low flame in your NUTRICHEF Grill can be caused by: * being out of gas, * the excess flow valve being tripped, or * a vapor lock at the coupling nut/LP cylinder connection. Check the gas level in the LP cylinder. If the excess flow valve has tripped, turn off the knobs, wait 30 seconds, and then light the grill. If the flames are still low, turn off the knobs and LP cylinder valve, disconnect the regulator, reconnect it, and perform a leak test. Turn on the LP cylinder valve, wait 30 seconds, and then light the grill. For a vapor lock, turn off the knobs and LP cylinder valve, disconnect the coupling nut from the cylinder, and then reconnect and retry.

What to do if there is a fire coming through control panel of NUTRICHEF Grill?
    • T
      Tracey CampbellAug 30, 2025
If you see fire coming through the control panel of your NUTRICHEF Grill, it's likely due to a blockage causing a fire in the burner tube section. Immediately turn off the control knobs and the LP cylinder valve. Leave the lid open to allow the flames to die down. Once the fire is out and the grill is cold, remove the burner and inspect it for spider nests or rust.

What causes persistent drip fire in NUTRICHEF NCGRIL2?
    • D
      davenportkennethSep 2, 2025
A persistent drip fire in your NUTRICHEF Grill is often caused by drip being trapped by food buildup around the burner system. To resolve this, turn the knobs to the OFF position and turn off the gas at the LP cylinder. Leave the lid in position and allow the fire to burn out. After the grill cools down, remove and clean all parts.

What to do if gas is leaking between LP cylinder and regulator connection on NUTRICHEF Grill?
    • S
      schneiderjenniferSep 4, 2025
If gas is leaking between the LP cylinder and the regulator connection on your NUTRICHEF Grill, it's likely due to improper installation, a loose connection, or a failure of the rubber seal. Turn off the LP cylinder valve. Remove the regulator from the cylinder and visually inspect the rubber seal for any damage. Consult the sections on the LP Cylinder Leak Test and Connecting the Regulator to the LP Cylinder for further guidance.

What causes drip fire or excessive flames above cooking surface on NUTRICHEF NCGRIL2 Grill?
    • J
      jwilliamsSep 9, 2025
Drip fires or continuous excessive flames above the cooking surface on your NUTRICHEF Grill are usually due to too much drip buildup in the burner area. Turn off the control knobs and the LP cylinder valve. Leave the lid open to allow the flames to die down. After the grill has cooled, clean any food particles and excess drip from inside the firebox area, drip tray, and other surfaces.

How to fix flashback (fire in burner tube(s)) on NUTRICHEF Grill?
    • A
      alvaradonicoleSep 12, 2025
If you experience a flashback (fire in the burner tubes) or are unable to fill the LP cylinder of your NUTRICHEF Grill, it could be because the burner and/or burner tubes are blocked, or some dealers have older fill nozzles with worn threads. Turn the knobs to the OFF position and clean the burner and/or burner tubes. If the issue is with the fill nozzle, try a second LP dealer.
