The unit features two independent cooking surfaces, each with its own control panel and LED display, allowing for simultaneous cooking at different settings. Key functions include:
- Temperature Control: Users can select specific temperatures ranging from 100°F (38°C) to 575°F (302°C) in 5°F increments, or choose from preset temperature functions such as Low, Med Low, Med, Med High, High, and Max/Sear.
- Time Control: Cooking time can be set in hours and minutes, up to a maximum of 99 hours and 60 minutes. The unit automatically stops cooking once the set time expires.
- Warm Function: After cooking, the unit can keep food warm at a default setting of 120°F (49°C) for up to 100 hours.
- Stage Cook Function: This advanced feature allows users to program up to 10 consecutive cooking stages, each with its own temperature and time settings, for complex recipes.
