FAQ AND TROUBLESHOOTING
The skimmer requires some initial run-in period. This usually takes a few
days. The following symptoms can occur during this run-in period of the
device.
1. Skimmer overflows
2. No skimming action
3. Pump is too noisy
4. Micro-bubbles in the outlet
PLEASE NOTE: These symptoms can become even more noticeable in
new aquarium installations with mostly fresh seawater, live rocks or new
aquarium decorations. Wait for a few days and only then re-adjust the
device.
Additional help is offered by the following table that lists frequent sources
of error.
