What to do if my Ocean Breeze OBZ-12NPF beeps 8 times and displays 'P1'?

If your Ocean Breeze Air Conditioner beeps 8 times and shows 'P1', it means the water level in the bottom tray is too high. To fix this, carefully move the unit to a drain, remove the bottom drain plug to let the water out, then reinstall the plug. Restart the unit until the 'P1' symbol is gone. If the problem continues, it's best to call for service.
