Ventilation
The slots and openings on the Digital Photo Frame are for ventilation purposes. To ensure that the product
operates reliably and to protect it from overheating, these openings must not be blocked or covered. Keep the
Digital Photo Frame a minimum of four (4) inches away from any wall to assure sufficient airflow and
ventilation. If the product becomes too hot, it may cause a fire or stop working.
To assure proper ventilation, do not block the openings by placing the Digital Photo Frame on a bed, sofa, rug
or other similar surface. Do not place it in a built-in installation, such as a bookcase or enclosed rack, unless it is
properly ventilated.
Other notices and precautions
Caution: Never remove the plastic housing. None of the parts inside can be serviced by the user. The Digital
Photo Frame contains high voltage parts. You may be seriously injured if you touch them.
Do not attempt repairs yourself. The warranty does not cover repairs or attempted repairs by anyone but an
authorized dealer. All service and repair work should be performed by qualified service personnel.
If the Frame begins to emit smoke, an abnormal noise or a strange odour, immediately switch it off, and unplug
the power cord. Contact customer service at an authorized dealer.
If the Digital Photo Frame is not being used for an extended period of time, unplug the power cord.
Cleaning the Digital Photo Frame
MAKE SURE THE DIGITAL PHOTO FRAME IS TURNED OFF
NEVER SPRAY OR POUR LIQUID DIRECTLY ON THE SCREEN OR PLASTIC HOUSING
To clean the screen:
3. Wipe the screen with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth to remove dust and other particles.
4. If the screen is still not clean, apply a small amount of ammonia-free, non-alcohol-based glass cleaner to a
clean, soft, lint-free cloth, and use that cloth to clean the screen.
To clean the plastic housing:
3. Use a soft, dry cloth.
4. If the housing is still not clean, apply a small amount of ammonia-free, non-alcohol-based, mild non-
abrasive detergent to a clean, soft, lint-free cloth, and use that cloth to clean the surface.
To clean the frame:
Use a soft, dry cloth.
Disclaimer
Your authorized dealer does not recommend the use of any ammonia-based or alcohol-based cleaners on the
LCD screen or plastic housing. Some chemical cleaners have been known to damage the screen and/or housing.
Your authorized dealer will not be liable for damage resulting from the use of any ammonia-based or alcohol-
based cleaners.
Notes on environmental protection
At the end of its service life, this product must not be disposed of in normal household rubbish, but must be brought to a
collection point that recycles electrical and electronic devices. The symbol on the product, in the instruction manual or on
the packaging indicates this.
The materials can be recycled according to their label. By recycling, reusing the material or other forms of utilising old
devices, you are making an important contribution to protecting our environment. Please consult your local government
officials for a qualified disposal facility.
