Why is my OEG CPA-E 55/25-180 Water Pump making failure noises?
    • D
      dreynoldsAug 17, 2025
If you're hearing unusual noises from your OEG Water Pump, it could be due to several reasons. Air might be trapped in the system or the motor pump; try venting the system to remove any trapped air. Alternatively, the flow rate might be too high, in which case you should reduce the inlet pressure of the pump and adapt the program. Low inlet pressure or insufficient head can also cause noise; increase the inlet pressure and check the expansion vessel. Finally, the speed might be too low; adjust the signal PWM or PWM inverted at the controller.

What to do if my OEG CPA-E 55/25-180 does not start?
    • S
      susan63Nov 2, 2025
If your OEG Water Pump doesn't start, several issues could be the cause. First, a fuse might have tripped, in which case you should replace it. Alternatively, the RCCB might have tripped; check the insulation and try switching the RCCB on again. It's also possible that the motor is defective, requiring a pump replacement. Ensure that the power supply is within the defined range, as high or low voltage can prevent the pump from starting. Other potential causes include excessive current (indicating a defective board or motor, also requiring pump replacement), lack of medium (fill the system and check the ball valves), phase failure (check the voltage supply and board), pump locks (check the rotor for unobstructed movement), or incorrect resistance values/motor current consumption (again, req...
