UNPACKING
After unpacking unit, inspect carefully for any damage that may have
occurred during transit. Check for loose, missing, or damaged parts. If
any damage is observed, a shipping damage claim must be filed with
carrier. DO NOT use the OEMTOOLS

18"/24" Heavy Duty Workstation
Wall Mount Fan if broken, bent, cracked or damaged parts (including
labels) are noted. Any Workstation Wall Mount Fan that appears
damaged in any way, operates abnormally, or is missing parts should
be removed from service immediately. If you suspect that the 18"/24"
Heavy Duty Workstation Wall Mount Fan was subjected to shock load
(a load that was dropped suddenly, unexpectedly, etc.), immediately
discontinue use until it has been checked by a factory authorized
service center.

Overview

The OEMTOOLS® 18"/24" Heavy Duty Workstation Wall Mount Fan is designed to circulate air in workshops, garages, warehouses, and other workstations. This fan is equipped with a heavy-duty mounting bracket, allowing the operator to direct airflow in any desired direction.

Usage Features:

The fan is designed for wall mounting and includes hardware for both wall stud and concrete wall installations.

Installation:

  • Wall Stud Installation: Mark desired hole locations using the Wall Mounting Bracket (E), drill small diameter pilot holes, then position the bracket over the holes and screw two bolts into the stud, tightening them securely.
  • Concrete Wall Installation: Mark desired hole locations using the Wall Mounting Bracket (E), drill the holes, insert wall anchors and tap until flush with the wall face, then position the bracket and screw two bolts into the anchors, tightening them securely.

Operation:

  1. Mount the fan according to the provided assembly instructions.
  2. Plug the fan into a grounded 120V/60Hz outlet.
  3. Adjust the desired speed by pulling the chain.
    • OEM24895 (3 Speeds): 0 - OFF, 1 - Low, 2 - Medium, 3 - High
    • OEM24896 (2 Speeds): 0 - OFF, 1 - Low, 2 - High
    • Note: To extend the life of the fan motor, allow the fan to run for at least one minute at each setting before moving to the next setting.
  4. Turn the fan to OFF before unplugging from the electrical outlet.

Storage:

Store the Workstation Fan in an upright position in a clean, dry area. Avoid storing near flammable items or open flames.

Maintenance Features:

  • Cleaning: Unplug the fan before performing any maintenance. DO NOT use water to clean the fan. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the protective fan guard and blades. If desired, the front protective fan guard can be removed to access the fan blades. Ensure the protective guard is securely reattached prior to use.
  • Inspection: Regularly check the product for damage. If any part is damaged, it should be carefully inspected to ensure it can perform its intended function correctly. If in doubt, the part should be repaired by a qualified technician.
  • Parts Replacement: When servicing, use only identical replacement parts.
  • Disposal: At the end of its useful life, dispose of the components in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

  • General Safety: Read and understand the product manual thoroughly. Use common sense and only use the product for its intended purpose. Maintain labels and nameplates.
  • Damage: Do not use if broken, bent, cracked, or damaged. If any damage is observed during transit, a shipping damage claim must be filed with the carrier.   • Electrical Safety: Do not unplug by holding the cord; unplug by holding the plug. Do not plug into an extension cord. Do not use if the cord or plug has been damaged. Do not leave plugged in while unattended.
  • Environmental: Do not operate near an open flame or heat source. Do not use in conjunction with a solid-state speed control device. Do not use in a damp or wet location. Keep away from flammables.
  • Physical Safety: Do not insert hands or other objects into the fan guard or near moving parts. Do not submerge in liquids. Do not touch with wet hands. Do not move or attempt maintenance while plugged in.
  • Installation Safety: Ensure the wall mount is fastened to a concrete wall or stud capable of supporting the fan's weight.
  • Modification/Repair: Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the fan. Service must be performed by qualified repair personnel.
  • Children: Keep children away from the work area and do not let them handle the product without adult supervision. Store out of reach of children and untrained persons.
  • Personal Condition: Do not operate if under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Wear eye protection (ANSI approved safety glasses) at all times. Dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection may also be necessary.
  • Apparel: Wear proper apparel. Avoid loose clothing, gloves, neck-ties, rings, bracelets, or other jewelry that could get caught in moving parts.
  • Work Area: Keep the work area clean, well-lit, and free of obstructions, grease, oil, trash, and other debris.
  • California Proposition 65: This product contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling.

Warranty:

OEMTOOLS® offers a 90-day warranty from the original purchase date against defects in material or workmanship (through normal usage). To obtain service, return the tool with proof of purchase (transportation pre-paid) to OEMTOOLS® Q.A. Dept., 3580 E. Raines Road #3, Memphis, TN 38118. The warranty does not cover lost or damaged goods during transportation, abnormal use (abuse, accident, alteration, neglect, unauthorized or unreasonable use or repairs), or normal wear and tear.
