Rebuild Air Spring Cartridge - Top Cap Assembly

Tighten Top Cap to Cylinder

Thread and tighten the top cap to the cylinder tube using a torque wrench.

Rebuild Air Spring Cartridge - Seal Head and Piston Disassembly

Piston Component Ring Removal

Remove old o-rings and back-up rings from the piston.

Rebuild Air Spring Cartridge - Shaft Assembly and Tightening

Shaft Thread Cleaning and Sealant Application

Clean shaft threads and apply Loctite 577 before tightening components.

Base Cap and Seal Head Tightening

Tighten base cap and seal head onto the shaft with torque specifications.

Reinstall Air Spring Cartridge (RXF34/RXF36/RXF38)

Top Cap Threading and Loctite Application

Apply Loctite to top cap threads if needed, then reinstall.

Final Tightening and Air Pressure Inflation

Tighten top cap, refit lower valve nut, and inflate air chambers.

Reinstall Air Spring Cartridge (DH38)

Top Cap Threading and Loctite Application (DH38)

Apply Loctite to DH38 top cap threads if needed, then reinstall.

Final Tightening and Component Reinstallation (DH38)

Tighten top cap, base cap nut, and reinstall knobs/caps for DH38.
