POSSIBLE INCONVENIENCES
PROBLEM
• The burner doesn’t ignite
with the piezoelectric igni-
tion.
• The burner doesn’t ignite
with a match.
Sudden gas ux decrease or
reduced ame highness.
Flame irregular or not at its
maximum.
Yellow or orange ame.
The ame goes alternatively
or turns o.
Grease catches re.
Flashback in the burner.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Contact or electrode covered with cook-
ing residues.
Wet electrodes or burners.
Damaged electrode.
Damaged or disconnected electric wire.
Damaged injector.
Lack of gas.
Connection nut and regulator not correct-
ly connected.
Gas ux obstruction.
Venturi hose obstructed.
Burners orices are obstructed.
Lack of gas.
Flux excess, safety device activated.
Burner outlets clogged or blocked.
New burner, possible processing oil resi-
dues.
Food, grease or condiment residues on
the burner.
Bad alignment between the valve and the
Venturi injector.
The ame is too high or there are wind
gusts.
Low gas ux.
Flame too high. The safety valve inter-
vened.
Grease trapped between food accumula-
tion around the burner.
Burner and/or hose are obstructed.
REMEDIES
Clean the contact and the electrodes.
Dry the electrodes and the burners.
Replace the electrode.
Replace or connect the wire.
Replace the injector.
Check that the bottle valve is open.
Replace the bottle.
Unscrew the nut by a quarter turn and
then manually seal it. Do not use tools.
Clean the burner.
Clean the Venturi hose.
Clean the burners orices.
Check that the bottle valve is open.
Replace the bottle.
Turn the control knobs to “OFF” (•), wait 30
seconds and turn on the barbecue. If the
ames are still too low, reset the excessive
ow safety device by turning the knobs on
“OFF” (•) and closing the regulation valve
on the bottle. Disconnect the regulator.
Turn the control knob to ( ) and wait a
minute, then take the knob back to “OFF”
(•). Reconnect the regulator to the bottle.
Slowly open the regulator and, after about
30 seconds, turn the burner on operating
like it’s described in this booklet.
Clean the burner outlets.
Ignite the burners for about 15 minutes
with the closed lid.
Clean the burner.
Correctly connect the components.
Do not use the barbecue in the presence
of strong wind.
Replace the bottle.
Lower the ame.
Clean the burner.
Turn the control knobs to “OFF” (•). Close
the regulation valve on the bottle. Close
the lid until the ame turns o. When the
barbecue has completely cooled down
proceed with its complete cleaning.
Clean the hose and/or the burner.
