Instructions for return of defective
hard drive unit
IMPORTANT: You must return your
defective unit within fifteen (15) days or
your credit card/purchase order will be
invoiced for the replacement cost of the
unit.
Repack the defective unit in the container that the
replacement unit was received in.
Remove or block out any old shipping labels and seal box.
Complete the “From” section of the PRP label, using the
8-digit RA # from the “Delivery Instructions” section of the
replacement unit’s packing list.
Affix the PRP return label onto the box.
Keep the Consignee receipt tab for your records.
Request a pick up in any of the following ways:
Use www.fedex.com. Select the “Pickup” tab, then
“FedEx Ground Package Returns Program.”
Call FedEx Ground Customer Service toll free at
1-888-777-6040. Inform them that you need a
“Package Returns Program” pickup.
Or, just give the package to your regular FedEx Ground
driver.
