Close the transport guide.

Lower the original feeder tray.
 Paper misfeed in the tray feeding portion

Raise the original feeder tray, and remove the original
under the tray.

Close the upper cover.

Open the feeder cover on the right side.

Remove the misfed paper from the tray and close the
feeder cover.
