Section 2 – WARRANTY
The warranty is valid against manufacturing defects for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the purchase date
(the goods transport document is proof). The warranty expires, and with it all direct or indirect liability, if the product
is tampered with or misused, repairs or modications were carried out by unauthorised sta, non-original spare parts
were used. The materials returned for repairs under warranty are returned CARRIAGE PAID.
Section 3 - SAFETY STANDARDS
There are no contraindications for use, if all the normal precautions are used for this type of product together with the
instructions outlined in the USE AND MAINTENANCE manual.
MVE motorvibrators can be installed in any position. You are advised to x the motorvibrator to a hard area to avoid the
vibrations generated causing breakages or cracking; if this is not possible, you can use plates and ribs for reinforcement.
The cutting and welding procedures must be carried out by qualied sta. Suitable Hot-Works (such as cutting or
welding) and LOTO-lockout/tagout procedures: disconnection procedure of the machine (electrical and mechanical
disconnection), should be applied for safe installation of the motorvibrator. Authorisation to carry out the hot works
MUST be entrusted to specialist technical sta trained in the risk of explosion from dust.
The coupling surface must be at (atness max 0.25mm/max 0.01Inch) so the feet of the vibrator evenly rest and are
perfectly in contact with the xing surface, to avoid internal stress capable of breaking the feet of the motorvibrator.
The weighted equivalent continuous acoustic pressure level of the vibrator motors must NEVER exceed 90 dB(A)*
*Measurement taken in normal working conditions according to standard UNI EN ISO 11202.
Section 3.1 – INSTALLATION
To x the motorvibrator, use bolts (quality 8.8), nuts (quality 8.8) and at washers cat.-A UNI6592. Use a torque wrench
adjusted according to the technical data table.
Remember that most faults and defects are due to poor fastening and tightening.
Anchor the motorvibrator with an adequately long chain, 15 cm, or metal cable to the structure.
Check before start-up, and after the rst 24 hours of work:
ū Power the vibrator and use a current clamp on all the phases to check absorption does not exceed the plate value.
ū The fastening bolts of the motorvibrator and the welds on the plates and the reinforcement ribs.
ū The cable or chain used for anchorage.
ū The power cabling.
Section 4 – OPERATING NOTES
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS MUST BE EXCLUSIVELY CARRIED OUT BY QUALIFIED STAFF ACCORDING TO EN/IEC 60079-
14 AND WITH POWER DISCONNECTED. GROUND CONNECTION IS COMPULSORY.
For connections of the motorvibrators, refer to the electrical connections” diagrams.
The power supply mains and the connection of the motorvibrators must comply with safety standards in force
established by the competent authorities where the work is carried out.
The ambient temperature in which the machine operates is:
