3.2 - DESCRIPTION OF THE WARNING PANEL
IntheupperrightpartoftheappliancearelocatedafewkeysandLEDswhosefunctionsaredescribed
intheparagraph(4.3.3).
3.3 - USE OF THE REMOTE CONTROL
Theremotecontrolsuppliedwiththeair-conditioneristheinstrumentthat
enablesyoutousetheapplianceinthemostconvenientway.
Itshouldbehandledwithcareandinparticular:
• Keepitdry (donot cleanit withwater orleave itoutdoors inbad
weather).
• Avoiddroppingorbumpingit.
• Keepitoutofdirectsunlight.
• The remote control operates by means of an infrared beam.
• During use, there must not be any obstacle between the remote control and the air-conditioner.
• If other appliances in the room have remote controls (TV, stereo, etc...), there may be interference
with consequent loss of the sent signal.
• Electronic and uorescent lights may also interfere with transmissions between remote control
and air-conditioner.
• Remove the batteries in case of prolonged disuse of the remote control.
• The remote control display goes off after a few seconds of non-use, to reactivate it press any
key.
3.3.1-Insertionofbatteries(g.30)
Toinsertthebatteriescorrectly:
a. Removethebatteriescompartmentcover.
b.Insertthebatteriesintotherelevantcompartment.
Check the polarity indicated on the bottom of the compartment.
c. Closethecompartmentcorrectly.
3.3.2 - Replacement of batteries
Thebatteriesshouldbereplacedwhenthedisplayontheremotecontroldoesnotappearsharplyorwhen
theremotecontroldoesnotchangethesettings.
Always use new batteries and replace both at the same time.
The use of old or different batteries could generate malfunctioning of the remote
control.

Whenthebatterieshavebeenreplaced,adjusttheremotecontrolclock.
