Creating panoramic images [PANORAMA]

Panorama shooting lets you create a panoramic picture, using the OLYMPUS Master 2
software on the provided CD-ROM.
_ An Olympus xD-Picture Card is required for panoramic shooting. Cards by other manufacturers do
not support panoramic shooting.
_ Panoramic shooting is not available using a microSD card in the microSD Attachment.
_ The focus, exposure (p. 19), zoom position (p. 19), and [WB] (p. 25) are locked at the first frame.
_ The flash (p. 19) is fixed to (_) (FLASH OFF) mode.
J_' Use _J to select the direction that the frames are combined.
Press the shutter button to take the first frame, and then compose the second shot.
® The part of the previous picture where it will be joined to the next picture does not remain in the frame. You
have to remember what the part in the frame looked like and take the next picture so it overlaps.
,3 Repeat Step until the number of required frames is taken, and then press the _ button
when done.
_ When the [[_1mark is displayed, you cannot continue shooting any further. Panorama shooting is
possible for up to 10 frames.

Selecting the focusing on a face

detects and focuses on a face.
