LOADING THE BATTERY

Make sure the camera is turned off.

Open the battery compartment/card cover.

Insert the battery.
The lens barrier is closed. The monitor is off.
The power lamp is off.

Battery lock knob
To remove the battery
Slide the battery lock knob in
the direction of the arrow to
release the battery. Turn the
camera upright, and let the
battery fall into your hand.
Battery lock knob
Slide the battery lock knob in the
direction of the arrow when
inserting the battery.
The battery is locked into place
when inserted correctly.
