1 Displays the function settings status.
• When 4 &, 1 z, 2Y or f is pressed, the corresponding icon is selected and you can
set the function.

2 The battery check and flash charging marks are displayed.
3 The name of the function selected in area 4 is displayed. The name of the function is also
displayed during custom button operations. When no function has been selected, the date is
displayed.
4 You can set the following functions.
• Use the arrow pad to select a function and use the control dial to change the settings.

5 The shutter speed, aperture value, exposure compensation value, exposure compensation
indicator and flash intensity control indicator are displayed.
6 The number of storable still pictures/remaining recording time is displayed.
