important notices
Hot surfaces
Do not touch the motor or hot parts when the
generator is running or shortly after its stop. The
exhaust pipe of the combustion gases takes high tempera-
tures. Do not remove the protections that these pieces may
have.
Risk of entrapment
To prevent personal accidents, do not approach
the rotating parts of the generator wearing wide
clothing, ties, chains or long hair.
User’s guide
Read them carefully before using the generator.
Handle or repair
The manipulations or repairs can only be done in
ofcial technical services. Do not allow the gene-
rator to be used by incompetent personnel.
The user can only do the manipulations indicated in this ma-
nual. The manufacturer is not responsible for other manipula-
tions that the user can do.
Notice
It is used to alert the user that if the indications are
not strictly followed, they may carry a risk of harm
to the user, equipment or the installation.
Children and animals
Keep the generator away from children and ani-
mals while it is running.
Ground terminal
Before using the generator, carry out (or check
each time) the connection of the earth terminal
with a peg driven into the ground.
Explosion
Always ll the fuel tank and / or add oil always
with the engine stopped. Do not overll the tank
to avoid fuel leakage. Do not start the generator near inflam-
mable material, such as gasoil or gasoline, which are highly
explosive.
Poisoning
Do not operate with the generator in closed en-
vironments without ventilation such as garages,
tunnels, quarries ... Keep the exhaust pipe completely free
of foreign bodies. During operation carbon monoxide gas is
generated very toxic, odorless and colorless, which can cause
severe nausea, fainting and, in some cases, death.
Electrocution risk
Failure to comply with this warning may result in
a risk of electrocution.
• Do not use the generator in rain or snow. Do not perform
operations with wet or damp hands, or with wet feet or ba-
refoot, as the user could be electrocuted. Never direct a jet
of water under pressure against the generator, at the risk of
electric shock.
• Never plug the generator directly into the public distribution
network.
• Connect electrical appliances that do not exceed the load
indicated on the nameplate.
• Check that the electrical connection of the generator to the
user’s network is not crushed under heavy parts or is in con-
tact with parts that vibrate, as it could break causing flames
