The Azimuth rebreather can be used only after having acquired the necessary specialist certification attending a
diver training course approved by O.M.G.
Azimuth is a semi-closed circuit Nitrox rebreather designed and constructed for recreational diving. It must not be used for diving
deeper than 33 meters or for decompression-stop diving.
WARNINGWARNING
Do not use the Azimuth rebreather for decompression-stop dives or for diving deeper than 33 meters. Failure to
comply with these restrictions may result in serious injury or death.
The Azimuth rebreather offers many advantages compared to traditional open-circuit scuba apparatus. By regenerating the breathing
mix, it considerably extends the diver's air time, allowing him or her to stay longer at any given depth, and letting out fewer bubbles.
Because the chemical process which regenerates the breathing mix requires all parts to be in perfect working order, it is necessary to
be well aware of all possible risks to be faced, before using the rebreater with acceptable safety margins.
WARNINGWARNING
This user manual is NOT a substitute for the specialist diver certification for use of the Azimuth. Do not use the
Azimuth until you have acquired the specific licence. Use of this rebreather by divers who have not obtained the
required Azimuth licence,may result in serious injuries or death, even if they hold training certificates for
handling other rebreathers.
The Azimuth rebreather must be used with Nitrox breathing mixes with an oxygen percentage of 32%, 40% and 50% in volume terms.
As one can adjust the continuous flow rate, the Azimuth rebreather can also be used with different mixes other than those above
specified. All other mixes should be used by highly skilled divers only, who will accept full responsibility for any consequences that may
occur due to their actions.
