FINAL CHECK OF THE REBREATHER OPERATION
Open the shell cover to expose the counterlungs. Open both tank’s shut-off valves and check for any leaks in the counterlungs or in
other components by submerging the rebreather into the water with the four way valve closed (lever in down position). Check that the
emergency open circuit regulator and the BC are properly working.
WARNINGWARNING
If any operation malfunction is found during this final check, the planned dive should be aborted until the
problem has been fully resolved. I you start a dive with your rebreather not in a proper working shape may be
extremely dangerous, and put your own life at risk of serious or even fatal accidents.
In case of:
replace or repair;
! replace the connector O-Ring seal in the tank’s shut-off control valve fitting
replace the four way valve assembly
disassemble and check the corrugated hoses and the O-rings of union fittings. Replace the O-rings if necessary;
tank empty: proceed to refill. Pressure gauge hose defective: replace;
mouthpiece broken or split: replace; four way valve to be cleaned or replaced.
