At the end of the dive, close the tank’s shut-off valves and check for the continuous mix flow to stop within one minute, and then make
sure that the pressure gauges read zero bar.
Press the purge button on the emergency regulator front part to vent the residual pressur. Vent the pressure from the BC inflator group
by pressing the inflation button.
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
To be carried out after each dive:
1) open the shell cover l and rinse the rebreather, with the four way valve closed, using plenty of fresh water (Fig. 41);
2) rinse the regulator 2nd stage in plenty of fresh water, without pressing the purge button to prevent water to go inside;
3) remove the soda lime scrubber unit (Fig. 42);
4) empty the scrubber of the soda lime, then rinse it with fresh water and, blow it dry by compressed air in order to remove any soda
lime fragments and granules from the holes (Fig. 43);
5) disassemble the corrugated hoses and the four way valve (Fig 44); wash them thoroughly in plenty of fresh water, disinfect with an
O.M.G. antibacterial solution (or equivalent product), rinse, pack down the corrugated hose coils to squeeze out as much water as
possible, and allow to dry (Fig. 45);
6) disconnect the 1st stage regulators (pressure reducers) from the sut-off valves and then remove the tanks (Fig. 46);
CAUTIONCAUTION
Fit the special dust caps on the pressure reducers to prevent water from going inside.
7) disconnect the counterlungs from the upper union fittings and from the quick coupling hose, then remove the counterlungs (Fig.
47);
8) remove the counterlungs drainage cap; wash and rinse thoroughly with plenty of fresh water and disinfect using products as
abovementioned (Fig. 48);
9) allow all the rebreather components to dry in a well-ventilated shady area; lightly lubricate all the O-ring seals with type FOMBLIN
YNX or CHRISTO-LUBE oxygen-compatible grease (Fig. A).
