How to Set Up the OMRON CaloriScan
Remove printed display screen from device.
Attach strap by looping
through the
small hole found by the
bottom corner
screw at end of monitor,
then attach clip.
To start using the CaloriScan, using a sharp point
such as a pen, push the SET button at the back of
the monitor. The monitor screen will now flash
awaiting input of your personal settings.
To add your personal settings you will be using the FUNCTION keys which are:
A ▲ Memory (UP)
B ● Mode (ENTER)
C ▼ Clear (DOWN)
Date:
Using the UP/DOWN keys select year and ENTER
Using the UP/DOWN keys select month, then press ENTER
Using the UP/DOWN keys select date, then press ENTER
Time:
Using the UP/DOWN keys, select hour then press ENTER
Using the UP/DOWN keys, select minutes then press ENTER
Birth Date
Use the UP/DOWN keys to select birth year, then ENTER
Use the UP/DOWN keys to select birth month, then ENTER
Use the UP/DOWN keys to select birth date, then ENTER
Gender
You will then be asked to select your gender. Using the UP/DOWN buttons, select whether
you are you are MALE or FEMALE then ENTER
Weight / Height
Using the UP/DOWN keys add your current weight in Kg then ENTER
Using the UP/DOWN keys add your height in cms then ENTER
Stride
Using the UP/DOWN keys add your stride length in cms then ENTER
