ONEWHEEL OWNER’S MANUAL // ONEWHEEL
BASIC BALANCE
Remember, Onewheel is self-balancing, so there’s no
need to muscle your way on the board. Instead, use
slow, small movements.
When Onewheel is on the ground, you’ll notice a lower
side and a higher side. Always step onto the lower side
first. Then place your other foot onto the middle rectangle
on the front of the board. Keep your legs straight (like you
are standing on the ground) with only a very slight
bend in your knees.
Come up to level very slowly and Onewheel will engage.
TIP: Have a friend’s shoulders handy to help you
the first few times you get on your Onewheel. After
practicing a few times, we promise you’ll be a pro.
TIP: Gaze out at the horizon in the direction you
want to go (not down at the ground).
TIP: Use light, constant pressure to control your
Onewheel.
