The receiver’s front-panel USB port lets you play MP3 and

Active Powered Subwoofer for More Powerful
Bass Impact
To take full advantage of the impact of low-frequency sounds
in your games, movies, and music, the HT-S4505 employs an
active powered subwoofer. This type of subwoofer draws an
independent power supply that leaves the AVR free to focus
its power on the mid- and high-frequency sounds. This all-
newdown-ringsubwooferwasdevelopedtosaveenergy
(and money) by slashing power consumption by 80 percent
over the 2011 models.
