PROBLEM
OCCURS,
use
the
TX-844/866's
front
panel
Make
all
connections
as
shown
tn
the
system
connection
controls
to
verify
that
the
problem
is
with
the
remote
controller.

when
operating
the
TX-844/866
directly,

Remember
thatthe
HR-10
can't
display
the
operating
status
check
the
batteries
in
the
remote
controller
first
before
assuming
of
the
TX-844/866.
We
recommend
the
following
that
there
is
a
controller
malfunciton.
procedure
to
avoid
confusion:
Select
desired
functions,
including
speaker
selection,
at
the
TX-844/866
itself.
Start
the
program
from
the
remote
room
and
adjust
volume
accordingly.
Remote
program
choices
are
not
“locked
in”
and
may
be
inadvertently
changed
by
someone
adjusting
the
TX-844/866.
If
you
experience
program
Interruptions,
check
the
receiver
itself.
®
Non-Onkyo
components
can
be
operated
by
aiming
that
device’s
remote
sensor
at
the
HE-10
or
HE-50AC.
Pragrammabie
remote
controllers,
like
Onkyo’s
RC-AV10
or
RC-AV20,
simplify
system
operation
and
are
generally
recommended.
