If the “Check Engine” light comes on or if some other type of vehicle problem
occurs, an OnStar Advisor can tell you if the problem requires immediate
attention, or if it’s something simple that can wait.
If it’s a serious problem, the Advisor can:
• Contact Roadside Service or help nd a dealership near your current location.
• Give directions to get to the nearest dealership.
• Call the dealership to schedule an appointment.
No matter where or when a concern occurs with the vehicle, have the peace of
mind knowing an OnStar Advisor, and hundreds of dealers, are ready to help.

OnStar Vehicle Diagnostics is a
service that can automatically run
a diagnostic check on key vehicle
systems and then send a monthly
report by e-mail.
Every month, a simple e-mail report will
be delivered, listing the status of the:
• Engine and Transmission System
• Emissions System
• Air Bag System
• StabiliTrak
®
Stability Control System
(if equipped)
• Antilock Braking System (if equipped)
• OnStar System
• Remaining Oil Life and Mileage
• Tire Pressure (if equipped)
