Wiper blade on the rear window
Lift wiper arm. Disengage wiper blade
as shown in illustration and remove.
Bulb replacement
Switch off the ignition and switch off
the relevant switch or close the doors.
Only hold a new bulb at the base! Do
not touch the bulb glass with bare
hands.
Use only the same bulb type for
replacement.
To replace bulbs on the right side of
the engine compartment, detach the
air hose from the air filter.
To replace the bulb on the left-hand
side, remove fuse box cover 3 113.
With the Z 13 DTJ engine, also pull
the relay box in front of the fuse box
upwards out of the guides. Pull off the
air hose on the air filter on the right.
Halogen headlights
Headlights have separate systems for
low beam 1 (outer bulbs) and high
beam 2 (inner bulbs).
