MICRO-PHOTOGRAPHIC REFLEX CAMERA DEVICE MODEL MFM (ref. fig. 6)
Equipment: T2-ring (6d); intermediate optic 4X complete with focussing eyepiece (6c);
reflex camera body 24x36 (not supplied - available on request).
a) Installation:
1) Having loosened the locking screw (5b - ref. fig. 6) of the camera tube
(1 - ref. fig. 1) and removed the protective cover, mount the tube containing the
4x intermediate optic.Tighten the locking screw again (5b - ref. fig. 6).
2) Screw fit the T2 ring (6d - ref. fig. 6) to the intermediate optic, then lock the reflex
camera body onto the ring.
b) How to take photos:
1) Place the specimen slide onto the stage (7 - ref. fig. 1) and using the spring-arm
slide holder control knobs (10 - ref. fig. 1), search for the area to be photographed.
2) Focus the photographic graticule using the eyepiece dioptric compensation ring
(6c - ref. fig. 6) of the MFM micro-photographic device.
3) Focus on the specimen with high precision with the coarse/fine control knobs
(11 - ref. fig. 1).
4) Set the microscope illuminator to maximum intensity through the brightness control
(24 - ref. fig. 1).
5) Take the photo.
PLEASE NOTE:With prism slide knob (5a - ref. fig. 6) - equipped trinocular heads,
please remember to pull the slide knob outwards before taking the photo.
ADAPTER FOR DIGITAL CAMERAS
a) Installation:
1) Loosen the locking screw (5b - ref. fig. 6) of the trinocular tube in the head and
remove the protective cover.
2) Attach the adapter onto the camera.
3) Mount the digital camera, with the adapter, onto the trinocular tube,
tightening the locking screw (5b - ref. fig. 6).
b) How to take photos:
1) Place the specimen slide onto the stage (7 - ref. fig. 1) and using the spring-arm
slide holder control knobs (10 - ref. fig. 1), search for the area to be photographed.
2) Focus the photographic graticule using the eyepiece dioptric compensation ring
(6c - ref. fig. 6) of the micro-photographic device.
3) Focus on the specimen with high precision with the coarse/fine control knobs
(11 - ref. fig. 1).
4) Set the microscope illuminator to maximum intensity through the brightness control
