Using the Optimera® Mesh Nebulizer
Use the nebulizer as advised by your doctor, discussing how
frequently to use it and the amount of medication or isotonic
saline solution to use.
1. Twist open the medication container (2)
clockwise using the container's screw cap.
2. Fill the container with isotonic saline solution or
medication. Do not overfill to prevent leakage.
The minimum capacity is 5 ml and the maximum
capacity is 18 ml.
3. If the recommended dose is less than 5 ml, add
isotonic saline solution until it reaches at least 5
ml. Thick medications may require dilution.
Always follow doctor's instructions.
4. After filling, screw the cap back on
counterclockwise.
5. Attach the mouthpiece or mask to the nebulizer.
6. Start the treatment using the power button. The
power indicator light (green) will illuminate.
Ensure that the medication container (2) and the device (1) are
securely connected. Incorrect assembly can cause short
circuits and prevent the nebulizer from functioning.
