Remove the timer from its outer black clip.
Carefully unscrew the six screws holding the back case.
Remove the back case, noting orientation markers.
Note how the old battery is fitted before removal.
Fit a new CR2032 Lithium battery with positive terminal facing up.
Replace back case, ensuring rubber seal is seated correctly.
Replace and tighten the six screws gently to avoid stripping threads.
Press timer firmly into clip until it clicks securely.
Pass elastic through clasp from bottom to top.
Pull elastic to desired tightness and close clasp firmly.
Push elastic loop over spare length to keep it tidy.
