To activate your tracker please follow these easy steps
Go to our website www.OptimusTracker.com
Click on the "Activate Tracker" link.
Fill out the form. You will need the IMEI number.
It's the 15-digit number that is printed on tracker's label.
After subscribing, wait a minute for the activation email.
Make sure to check your spam/junk folder too.
Please contact us if you do not receive the activation email.

A little more information
After activation, turn your tracker on and take it outside. Wait a few minutes.
Your tracker should appear on the map soon after. If your tracker does not
appear on the map, please contact us.
The Tracking unit receives a GPS signal from the sky, this signal can go
through plastics, fabrics, under a car seat, in the glove compartment, even
under a car. Testing your tracker is the best way to find out where it will work
best for you. Sometimes you may get a drift in the map position if the Tra-
cking Unit is placed in a much-concealed location. Please be aware that the
signal will not work if the Tracker is totally enclosed in metal or is inside a
building.
A second signal is sent from The Tracking unit to our servers using cellphone
networks for real time tracking. When no cellular signal is available the Tra-
cking Unit will save the track in its memory. When cellphone signal is regained,
the history will be uploaded automatically.
Battery charge usually lasts at least one week.
Position reports are sent every minute when the Tracking Unit is in movement
and stops reporting when standing still to maximize battery use.
