• PIN: Select a PIN to use for unlocking the screen.
• Password: Create a password for unlocking the
screen.
NOTE: If you forget your pattern, PIN, or password, you will have
to reset your device to factory settings, which will remove all data
from your device.
Fingerprint
Use ngerprint recognition as an alternative to unlock the device
or enter certain apps.
You can register up to 3 ngerprints. A pattern, password or PIN
will also be set as an alternative to your ngerprint.
To register a fingerprint
1. Tap Security > Fingerprint under Device security.
2. Choose the required backup screen method.
• Fingerprint + Pattern
• Fingerprint + PIN
• Fingerprint + Password.
Smart Lock
Smart Lock keeps your device unlocked when connected to a
trusted device or in a familiar location.
Device admin apps
You can authorise security features and apps to have
administrative access to your device.
To set the device admin
1. Tap Security > Device admin apps
2. Tap an option to enable.
